Pressure Washer Fix

My craftsman pressure washer stopped generating pressure, so I swapped out the unloader after I noticed a chunk of rubber coming out of one of its ports. No change.

I took the pump completely apart and checked for broken anything. No change.

I screwed in the unloader valve a bit, since it seemed screwed rather far out. It blew the hose clean off the outlet tube. Aha!

So I've ordered a sturdier hose outlet tube (brass instead of aluminum). I'll dial back the unloader valve too, just in case.

CH250 Centerstand Fix

Well, I'm no welder, and I'm also using a shitty 110 flux wire welder from Harbor Sheight, so results are going to be marginal at best. That said, it turned out better than a pair of plates bolted to either side...

Gowned up like a surgeon:

Plates and bolts: Thanks, Doctor Teeth! What's funny is that, if you know where to look, you can see his sloppy fix in all the pictures here.

Ground the paint off with the trusty Dremel.

First pass with the welder. Shit. Absolute shit.

God that is the worst weld I've ever done. Anyway, the good Dr. also lost one of the 14mm bolts (at far right) that holds the centerstand on. Of course he used some 3/8ths bolts & nuts he had laying around. At least he didn't lose the bushing. I ran a tap through from the back to clean up the threads and used the right size bolt. Luckily I had a bolt in the $10 pile of bolts from ebay.

Here you can see I ground it down

Second pass. Better penetration but still messy.

Throw some acetone, then some paint on it.

Here's the underside. I should've taken some pics from the back, but I didn't.
